Good Ideas - LEE YANG QING (TP071206)

Discuss where the good ideas come from and How to generate more good ideas?

Good ideas come from:

Problem Identification: A thorough grasp of the current situation is frequently the foundation of creative thinking. Members of an entrepreneur group could first pinpoint the main obstacles or chances in their sector or particular business environment. This could entail trend analysis, market research, or even anecdotal information from consumer comments. To ensure that the outcomes of our analysis generate ideas, members of the group should collaborate to resolve the issue in the case study we have selected.

Diverse Perspectives: Assembling people from various backgrounds and perspectives can foster creativity and lead to the creation of original ideas (Jesuis, 2019). Participants in entrepreneur groups may come from other departments, industries, or even different parts of the country, offering a variety of perspectives that spark creative problem-solving. For this reason, in addition to working independently, we should collaborate with others to generate novel ideas that they might not have previously considered.

How we get this great idea should of course come from...

Frequent brainstorming meetings: Arrange regular get-togethers where participants can exchange ideas, work through issues, or discover new prospects. Make sure these sessions have a set structure so that everyone can participate and ideas are captured efficiently.

Promote risk-taking: Urge participants to consider unconventional approaches and think creatively, even if they initially seem dangerous. Establishing a secure environment for trial and error can result in innovative concepts that might not have been thought of otherwise.(Jesuis, 2019)

Employ creative approaches: To stimulate creativity and produce fresh ideas, try using creative techniques like mind mapping, role acting, or reverse thinking. These methods can assist in disrupting conventional thought processes and revealing untapped potential.
